The original photo was taken by me and was of trees beyond a lake with the reflection of the greenery on the lake. I took it Monterey next to the El Estro Skate Park.

I chose purple, hue #277 because purple is my favorite color. 

I made this piece by using the brush tool in photoshop to draw over the original photo using only one hue. 

I learned how useful the different types of brushes were.
