I created this by clipping and cutting out my image, then copying and pasting it multiple times, a=while using rules to space it.
Alternating Pattern
An alternating pattern is when a second motif is introduced.
I got my images from the top of a building and a statue in a park from Krakow, Poland.
I created this by clipping and cutting two motifs, then using the rulers to place then alternating between each other.

Random Pattern

A random pattern is when there is no apparent pattern between the motifs, with no regular space between them.
I got my images from an art piece in a museum in Krakow, Poland.
I created this by clipping and cutting multiple objects and then placing them randomly.
Flowing Pattern
A flowing pattern is created with waving lines.
I got my image from a bridge in Krakow, Poland.
I created this by clipping and cutting my image, then repeating it along the pattern.

Progressive Pattern

A progressive pattern is when there is a change in the beat each time slightly, each time appearing a little different.
