Shapes
Animal

I created a cat using geometric shapes. I used mainly triangles to create my cat, I then used the direct selection tool to make it the right shape.

A shape is a two dimensional area that may be open or closed.

A organic shape is characterized by an irregular or asymmetrical form, usually associated with natural world.
A geometric shape is characterized by or decorated with regular lines and shapes.

A shape is a two dimensional area that may be opened or closed.
I used triangles to trace my face and used the direct selection tool to make the shapes fill out my face.
I learned that this process was harder than it seemed.
I would like my audience to notice how many triangles I used.
Next time I would space out my time better and make all the triangles around the same size, as well as adding a neck because I didn't have enough time for that.
Cartoon Characters

I learned that the shapes were harder to trace than I thought.
I used the pen tool to trace Hello Kitty's and Dear Daniel's faces and bodies then used the ellipse tool to do her eyes, nose and the small circle in her bow.
After doing this project I learned how to use the pen tool better.
Next time I would focus more on the bow because I don't like how thick the line gets on the top.
I would like the audience to notice her body.
Revised Piece

I chose to revise my Hello Kitty, this is because this is my favorite project I've made.
I changed the colors to make them monochromatic (minus her nose because she would look odd with purple nose)
I made this change because she looks lovely in purple.
