Elements of Art

I chose a black jaguar because I've always thought that they were cool and interesting. There are only 600 jaguars on earth, they are threated by habitat fragmentation. This endangers them because it makes it hard for them to hunt in prey, shrinking their survival rate. Their only predators are humans. They live in wet and dry forests, savannahs, and shrublands primarily in Mexico, Central America, and Brazil. To help increase the number of jaguars there could be land use planning and implementation.
controlling access to and the use of natural resources put in place.
I exemplified the line element of art by tracing out my animals body, head, legs, spots, and the log he lays on. I used the element of art, shape by creating the shapes of his spots. I did this many times because I had to do a larger spot then a smaller one to place on top of the larger one. I used the element of art color by coloring my animal three different times, cool, warm, and a color of my choice. I showed value by using a monochromatic color scheme with my jaguars. I showed form by making my jaguars arm lighter than its body and its' head lighter than its arm and body, adding 3D-ness to my jaguar. I showed texture by adding texture into the log the jaguars laying on. Space is showed with the background adding space with my jaguar.
I would like my audience to notice all his little spots.
If I did anything differently, I would make his whiskers more defined.
To do this assignment even better in the future, I would like to know how to do different types of texture.
